Welcome to Autumn 2024

Welcome to the Autumn 2024 edition of Conservation News.

Owning a period home is its own reward: a beautiful space that feels uniquely your own, but also ties you into the rich and varied history of this amazing part of the world. I don’t know about you, but I think Autumn is when period homes really come into their own: with full of rich, autumnal colours, and vintage fireplaces creating a cosy retreat, there really is no better time to make the most of your surroundings.

In this edition of Conservation News, we’ve got lots of articles to help you get the best out of your home, from making that cosy fireplace really shine, and nailing your aesthetic with antiques, to adding value to the property that will maximise your investment should the time come for you to move on.

All this, plus our usual array of gardening tips, local news and the very best of Kent’s business community, and we’ve got you well and truly sorted as we see out the year!
